Merry… WhateVR

This has been a tough year. On the professional side, the COVID has created many opportunities for us all, increasing the attention towards digital technologies and virtual reality. But on the personal side, every one of us has been very stressed in these months full of bad events, and many of us know people that have been ill or that have left us. Since when I started this blog, I have had the tradition of wishing people the best for the Winter Holidays and for the new year, but this time it is a very difficult task because of the damn 2020. Anyway, let me try to do it the same.

I hope that in these days of vacations, you will be able to rest and to spend some quality time with the people you love. Not just being physically with them (you can also be with them in VR 😉 ), but enjoying your time with them, letting them feel the warmth of your heart, and enrich each other. If you celebrate Christmas, like me, I wish you a Merry Christmas and I hope you’ll receive many great gifts and that you will eat a lot of amazing food (I think that my mother has already an evil plan to make me 5kgs fatter). And then, I wish you that the end of the year will bring away with it all the bad luck of 2020 and that you will have a 2021 full of love and success, in which all your dreams may come true.

If you are reading this post, maybe you are one of my usual readers, maybe you are someone that is reading a post of mine for the first time. Whatever is the case, thanks for being here: one of the best parts of my blogging activity, which sucks me so much time and energy, is the people that I’ve been able to meet in these years, and how you, my readers, have enriched me. I have so many friends in the XR communities, and even if I’ve never met in real life many of you, you have been very important to me, and I want to thank you for everything you have given to me. You have given me company, knowledge, help, feedback… even money (talking about my great Patreon donors). You are awesome and very important to me.

Unluckily I won’t rest too much these days: I’m working for the New Year’s Eve concert that we organizing on VRChat with the legend Jean-Michel Jarre. I have also to manage the blog and my gift for the community will be a post with some hard lessons that I’ve learned in 2020 that I will publish next week (I hope you will appreciate it!). But I’m trying to spend some more time with my family, to call some friends, and maybe to play some games and relax for some hours. It’s enough for a workaholic like me 😀

I wish you the best. Happy Christmas / Happy Winter Holidays and have a wonderful new year!

I tried to change the world with my startup Immotionar, offering super-awesome full body virtual reality, but now the dream is over. But I'm not giving up: I've started an AR/VR agency called New Technology Walkers with which help you in realizing your XR dreams with our consultancies (Contact us if you need a project done!)
